All Signs
Good news! Millions of students will get a celestial blessing this week as they return to school. (Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.) After being retrograde since Aug. 13, Mercury (the arbiter of daily activities, ground transportation and communications) stops being retrograde on Tues. Sept. 5. This will make it much easier to deal with the impossible myriad of details of "back to school." The energy will be "Damn the torpedos, full speed ahead!" (Note: If buying a cell phone, computer or a car, wait until Mercury catches up to where it was when it first went retrograde, which is Sept. 19.) Yes! This is the break we all need! (Especially if your next egg is turning into chicken feed.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This week, you've got energy, drive and focus! For starters, you're setting high standards for yourself because you want to be the best that you can be. Hey - this doesn't mean it's all work and no play. Au contraire! Venus will attract flirtations, parties and invites to sports events as well as playful times with children. This week you will work hard and party hard! Wednesday's Full Moon could trigger tension with coworkers. It might even stir up a health issue - temporarily. However, things look positive. Grab the baton and run! Your life is getting better and better as you approach a career peak in 2018. Yahoo!!
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
It's play city for you this week, which is why lucky Taurus natives are on vacation. Romance is hot; and pleasure beckons. Ooo la la! Delays that were associated with home, family and real estate will now diminish, which means you can go forward with your hoped-for plans. Family conversations will also have a better sense of direction. Venus urges you to redecorate, entertain at home and explore real-estate opportunities. Be patient with kids around Wednesday's Full Moon. In fact, be patient with lovers. Why stop there? Be patient with everyone! (And don' do card tricks for people you play poker with.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
This week is a mixed bag. In one way, you want to take it easy and cocoon at home. However, increased activity and chaos at home make this difficult. In fact, all this activity could trigger tension at home. (Oy vey.) Fortunately, Venus will sweeten your words and improve relations with daily contacts, siblings and relatives. However, Venus will seduce you to go out and socialize. So you must juggle the urge to schmooze versus the desire to relax at home. Wednesday's Full Moon will highlight feeling pulled in two directions. When in doubt, thrust open your arms and yell - "Evita!"
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
This is a busy, fast-paced week but you're ready for action! You can feel your daily pace accelerating as you cope with everything around you. Fortunately, the Sun and Mars are your allies. They will give you energy every day and make all your communications with others super direct and to the point. (Oh yeah. People will sit up like meerkats to listen to you.) This means those of you in sales and marketing as well as those write, act and teach will be effective. Actually, you can boost your earnings this week! (Admittedly you will also splurge on little finds.) Pay attention to everything you say and do midweek because this Full Moon is accident-prone for Cancer.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
"Show me the money!" Your thoughts are on moolagh this week because you will do some financial wheeling and dealing. You might also see ways to boost your earnings. And in typical Leo style, you will see ways to spend your money. "Shops must be visited. Money must be spent!" (Seriously, relax because this is an excellent week to buy wardrobe goodies for yourself. However, take note: the Full Moon midweek will bring financial matters to a head. (This could be good news - or not.) When it occurs, do not be hasty. Give financial matters a sober second thought. You tend to act quickly with your money. Slow down. (You know who you are. You ate the last mango in Paris.)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
"Look at you!" You're a prancing show pony with both the Sun and Mars in your sign. You are energized, focused and favoured! (Ah yes, the glass slipper fits only you.) Because you have such an advantage -- use it! Go after what you want. However, be careful that you don't overwhelm others with your high energy and dazzling charisma. (Believe me.) You will feel much happier this week once Mercury, the planet that is your ruler, is no longer retrograde. It will make you feel settled and more sure of yourself and your world. You will plan things with greater confidence. However, be aware that the Full Moon on Wednesday is the only Full Moon opposite your sign all year. Yikes! This means you have to be tolerant and patient with partners and close friends. "Care to tango?"
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You are playing things relatively low key for your sign. In fact, you will enjoy taking a backseat to situations because you want a breather from your usual social swirl. Of course, being the most gregarious sign in the zodiac, you will continue to see friends, especially artistic, creative types. And younger people who want to face time with you as well. Nevertheless, if you can, try to get some rest and use this week to rejuvenate yourself before your birthday arrives - because then, you will be up for grabs with everyone! Busy me! Midweek, when the Full Moon occurs, be patient with coworkers, colleagues and customers. Use your debonair style to charm everyone.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
This is a powerful time because the Sun is high noon in your chart casting a flattering light on you, which impresses everyone. Lucky you! This is obviously an opportunity not to be missed. (Fools runs in and get the best seats in the house.) Mars at the top of your chart ignites your ambition, which means you're ready to go for it just when people admire you. (Hello? Connect the dots. This is amazing timing for you; and timing is everything.) Meanwhile, travel, higher education, the law, publishing, the media and medicine will now flow more smoothly because Mercury is no longer retrograde. (Sigh of relief.) Looking swell, kiddo!
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Be more careful because midweek, the Full Moon introduces a slight accident-prone quality for your sign. Therefore, do pay attention to everything you say and do. Meanwhile, you want to escape routine. You want to get away from it all! Plus your sex drive is amped and romance is deliciously promising. However, you might face disputes about shared property, inheritances, taxes, insurance issues and shared property. Oh well. Some of these issues might come to a head midweek during the Full Moon. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
I want to give you a serious message. Fiery Mars is now sitting opposite your sign where it will stay until mid October. This means it's all too easy for you to be annoyed with partners and close friends. You will not see it as your own impatience. (And admittedly, others might just be super annoying.) Whatever the provocation, this is the reality. Since you know it is a temporary situation for six weeks, the smart thing to do is to be aware of this and be patient. After all, you know it will be gone by mid October. So don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. Be loving and tolerant. Your first test will be the Full Moon this week.
