All Signs
"Extra! Extra! Read all about it!" The planet Venus is about our values regarding relationships, beauty and money. Venus stays in each sign for three weeks. But this week, Venus enters Capricorn, to stay not for just three weeks but four months! Holy Payday! Because it will be in one sign so long, Venus will go forward, then retrograde, then forward again. In turn, this will cause us to rethink our values in different areas of our lives. Venus is a lovely influence. How interesting it will be to feel its favourable energy in the same place for so long. You know what Mae West said about too much of a good thing: "It's wonderful." She also said, "To err is human but it feels divine."
Aries (March 21-April 19)
>From now until March 2014, Venus will sit at the top of your chart. What a blessing! This attracts favourable dealings with authority figures: bosses, parents, teachers, VIPs, even the police. Your relations with these people will be warm and harmonious. From now until March, it's an excellent time to make your pitch and ask for permission or approval for anything that you want. This is an unusual opportunity! Make use of it. Regardless of what you do for a living, others will want your creative input about design, layout, furniture arrangement - anything. One last perk: It will also promote a relationship with someone older, wiser or richer. (A rich partner is a great labour-saving device.)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Wonderful Venus will bring you fabulous opportunities to travel for pleasure from now until next spring. Start making plans because this can really happen. The next four months are a great time for a vacation. Go someplace you've never been before to encounter something new and beautiful. Venus will heighten your appreciation of beauty so you will delight in seeing museums, galleries, parks and wonderful cities. It will also promote opportunities in publishing, the media, medicine, the law and higher education. You might meet someone from another background or a different culture. Gemini (May 21-June 20)
The sexy, intimate side of your relationships will be stimulated in the next four months. (Oh yeah. Go for baroque.) Shop for lingerie, massage oil and keep champagne in the fridge. It's the Boy Scout motto: Be prepared. Physical relationships will go beyond the usual and perhaps become a vehicle for self-transformation. (Wow.) Cancer (June 21-July 22)
This is most unusual. Fair Venus will be opposite your sign for four months, until the spring of 2014. This will beautifully enhance all your close relationships - spousal partnerships, business partnerships and close friendships. This is considered to be one of the best influences relating to others but generally it is only a brief three weeks. Now you can really build a partnership because it can simmer and render down to its juicy essence. It will be easy for you to express your affection. This influence is so favourable you can even make positive strides dealing with enemies.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Everything to do with your work, your job or tasks that you set for yourself (your own personal list) will be blessed in the next four months. You will enjoy good relations with co-workers, bosses and employees. Someone you work with could become a close friend. You can boost your earnings if you can see ways to do this. You might get a raise or praise. You might see a way to get a better job. And while all this is unfolding, your health will improve as well. (Your only temptation - because Venus is in the picture - will be overindulgence of chocolates, desserts and sweets foods.) In romantic relationships, you will easily discuss how to share expenses and tasks. And so it goes.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Lucky you. You have the best benefit from this four-month stretch of Venus in Capricorn of all the signs. It in a nutshell, it means that from now until the spring of 2014, you will have lots of opportunities for fun, entertaining diversions, parties, sports events, fun times with others and, yes, toujours l'amour. Existing romances will hum swimmingly along. New romance might begin for many of you. You might figure out a way to make money from the arts, sports, show business, the entertainment world and the hospitality industry. You will definitely take a vacation. (That's a given.) Musical performances, concerts, movies and places where art is found will appeal. Fun city!
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You have a lovely stretch of time ahead. You like harmony in your surroundings and this is what you will have because, until the spring of next year, you will be excited by plans to redecorate your home as well as entertain family and guests. Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
