All Signs
The planet Jupiter represents abundance, magnification, wealth and good fortune. It's associated with society, jurisprudence and the legal system. By contrast, Saturn represents boundaries, limitations, confinement, measurements, time, construction, work and the government. It's the nitty-gritty details of our lives: Passport, driver's license, address, height, weight, age. "Just the facts, ma'am." Whereas Jupiter is happy and positive (Jupiter was also called Jove, hence the word jovial), Saturn is associated with depression, sadness and loss. But they both teach: Jupiter teaches through classical education and wisdom, and Saturn teaches through experience. This week Jupiter and Saturn are on marvellous terms! Let's see how their dance can be practical or useful to us. (Ha! A practical nurse is one who marries a rich patient.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This week is a prelude to what is possible this year with real-estate opportunities, ways to expand your home (and family), plus how to share wealth among family members so that everyone feels benefited and content. Naturally, wealth or the promise of wealth generates competition and even conflict. This might arise now but, if it does, it will be short-lived. You're ambitious to achieve certain changes at home or within the family, which is why you might want to persuade family members to agree with you. Accept solid support from others, including banks, lending institutions or the wealth and resources of partners so you can bring about the positive changes you want at home and in your private life.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
This week it will be easy to achieve a nice balance between your busy schedule and the demands of partners and close friends. There's no question that your schedule is packed with short trips, increased reading and writing plus your desire to talk to many people. It's just what's happening. Nevertheless, those who are close to you will be supportive of your accelerated pace. They might offer sage advice or practical assistance. Relations at home are friendly and smooth. In fact, many of you are enjoying redecorating or tweaking your digs to make them more elegant and beautiful. (Home is where the art is.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
This fortuitous dance of Jupiter and Saturn will benefit you financially. This can happen in several ways: You might solidify a current way of earning money. You might find a new job. Someone older and more experienced might give you advice about how to boost your earnings. Naturally, this could also mean you're culminating a process that earns you money or gives you wealth, or it could even apply to your assets. You have good luck on your side and, at the same time, you see practical possibilities and you're willing to explore them with perseverance. The upshot of all this is that your wealth and assets can grow and they can also be solidified. "Spare change?"
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
This is an auspicious time because so much is happening in your sign. To begin with, you're at the beginning of a new 12-year cycle of growth and learning. Right now Jupiter and Saturn will help you with long-range goals by attracting favourable circumstances to you and giving you confidence and vision, and yet, steer you in practical ways as well. In other words, you see what you want and, better yet, you see how you can do it. You also have a good balance between your long-range goals and your daily tasks. One does not suffer at the expense of the other. If something doesn't work, you're philosophical about it and prepared to cut your losses. This sensible confidence is empowering!
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
With fair Venus in your sign, you're social, diplomatic and charming. (What's new?) But something important is taking place behind the scenes. You are growing in profound ways that only you are aware of, although subtle changes will be apparent to others. Because your understanding of yourself and aspects of your inner world is deepening, you're calmer, more tolerant and wiser. Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Initially you might feel competitive. However, in the larger picture, others will help you in the coming year. This is what you have to learn to adapt to. You have a wonderful opportunity to work with others in a sensible, practical way so that everyone benefits. Perhaps you show others how this can be done or they will show you. Someone might introduce you to a new work ethic. Whatever happens, look for ways to work with others so that everyone moves forward. Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
"Overnight success" is the result of hard work and a long grind. This week your job and financial situation (including cash flow) will give you the support you need to make others sit up and notice. You're at the beginning of a two-year window where you can put your name up in lights. Expect promotions, accolades, recognition and acknowledgment for what you do. Naturally, this will be gratifying. You see that by working slowly and patiently, results come! But more than that, you have clarity of intention. You know what you want to do. The question is, do you know how to do it? Or will you just not finish doing it? Aye, there's the rub.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
There are many ways you will expand your world in the coming year. Some will go back to school or continue with further education getting training and doing coursework for a specific goal. Others will choose to travel to broaden their horizons and their experience of the world. You also have opportunities to explore avenues in publishing, the media, medicine and the law. All of these opportunities are the best you've had in more than a decade. Whatever you choose to pursue, the planetary dance this week indicates that you are learning - in practical ways - how to get what you want. Better study habits, more effective writing habits, or being wiser about pushing what to ask for. "More porridge?"
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
The lesson you learned lately is how to wisely, practically and productively use the resources and shared wealth of others. Yes, this refers to partners, spouses and individuals who can directly or indirectly benefit you. But it also refers to banks and lending institutions. In the next year, the universe will give you a direct pipeline into all kinds of support, but you have to know how to go after that support and, if you get it, how to wisely use it (and keep it coming)! Fortunately, study, research and working alone have taught you what you need to make this a reality. Ergo - you're in charge of your future.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You are learning more about partnerships and dealing with the public and you will continue this learning for the next 18 months. Naturally, you will benefit from this because getting along with others makes life easier. Now you will take the advice of someone older, perhaps a teacher or a wiser and more experienced friend. Others discover that by being certain about their goals, their personal relationships, by extension, seem to improve. (Less willy-nilly decisions or anxiety.) Whatever the case, you are achieving a nice balance between your closest relationships and casual friendships and hobnobbing with groups. One group seems to help the other.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Although many of you are still in play mode, your sites are shifting to employment and work. In the next 18 months, you have opportunities to improve your job. Right now, you might be competitive or delegating to others because you're overworked and in charge. What is growing now is your appreciation of the money you need to do the work you want. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Just as a duck needs to swim in water, we need to express our creativity and delight in leisure, playful relaxation, sports and social partying with others. In other words, we all need balance in our lives to feel balanced or centred. Makes sense. Some of you are learning how beneficial a vacation or time to relax is, in a counterpoint to work.
