All Signs
This week we feel the effects of two heavy-duty planets: Mars and Pluto. (Guess who's coming to dinner? The atom bomb.) This energy, like atomic energy, can be used to create astonishing, great accomplishments - or it can be used to wreak havoc, and trigger angry words and misery. It's a dangerous energy to play with, but it's here. Whatchyagonnado? It's time to sit up and be a person. Don't give into your knee-jerk reaction to blast out or sound off at someone. The origin all of the word 'scruples' is 'to hesitate'. Therefore, be scrupulous in your behavior. Think before you speak and act. It's a little bit like Veni vidi Velcro. (We came, we saw, we stuck around.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
You always have strong opinions. You're energetic, assertive and bold. But this week, you're really cranked up about something. Be careful you're not coming on too strong in matters connected with publishing, politics, religion, the media, law and medicine. If you insist that you're right, you raise opposition against you. Being adamant about something generally makes others close their ears. Think about what your objective is. A power struggle is pointless. Winning is pointless as well, if you're standing there alone. If you want others to see your POV, you might have to talk more softly. (Easy to do when you're carrying a big stick.)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You're never casual about your possessions. (Or the possessions of others, for that matter.) It's very possible that you will disagree with someone about shared property or how to use something that somebody else owns. You might even feel that you have a great responsibility for somebody else. Keep your wits about you. You don't want to be victimized by anybody else. On the other hand, you don't want to take advantage of anyone. Take the high road here. Keep things fair to all concerned -- including yourself. (Your sexual energy is very strong now. You sensuous types are all alike.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Power struggles with others are highly likely now. Either you're being pushy and trying to get others to agree with you; or somebody else is doing this to you. Either way, this is a pointless, anti-productive exercise. It upsets you and others; and achieves nothing but displeasure all around! You have strong concerns now with publishing matters, travel, dealing with foreign countries, religion and politics. You might feel something important is at stake. Perhaps it is. In truth, something important is always at stake. Try to keep a lighter attitude about it all. All of life's important questions boil down to the chicken and the egg riddle. (On the other hand, a chicken crossing the road is poultry in motion.)
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You can get an enormous amount of work done now because that's what will make you feel best. You want to give something your all! Heavy, physical labour will be very satisfying for you. You can make changes, improvements and introduce reforms to where you work. Alternatively, you might introduce changes to the way you approach your job or actually do it. Resist the temptation to make others follow suit. They might not agree with you. (Even if you're right.) Accept this gracefully. Don't get carried away with power struggles, or trying to control a situation. (This is just an ego trip.) Internalize this energy and channel it into hard work. This way you can get a lot done, and avoid conflict with others.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Leo parents have strong opinions right now about what is best for their children. (You fiercely guard this territory.) However, sometimes your intention to improve, remake and reshape others is really just a miss placed impulse. What you really want to do is improve, remake and reshape yourself! (But it's so much easier to put it out there on someone else, isn't it?) This quality might arise in a romantic situation as well. In its simplest form, it will be sexy passion. (Always exciting.) If you can keep it at this level - great! But this kind of energy is like Pandora's box. Once it is released, things can get out of hand and quite bizarre. Take it all a bit more slowly.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Your zeal to make improvements at home (renovations, redecorating, or dealing with a residential move) knows no bounds at this time. You're ready to move mountains! If you use this energy in the right way, you can get a lot done. (Mars rules your aggression and muscles; Pluto rules intense transformation.) When these two planets come together it's a heavy-duty combination. They create conflict, ruthless, ego energy and quarrels -- or this same energy can be channeled into recovering, refurbishing, re-furnishing, refinishing and restoring anything at home. Similarly, you can restore relationships in your family dynamic. (But not if you're pushy.) Just think of your objective. Stay focused on that.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You have very strong opinions about something right now. As a result, you might be in conflict with siblings, relatives and neighbours. Naturally, you think you're right. (And you may be.) But what's the point? Don't try to convince others to agree with you. This will not promote mutual peace and harmony. On the other hand, don't let someone bully you into an agreement either. You feel very independent now about wanting to do your own thing. You feel playful, unconstrained, and freedom loving. You want to party, make love, and have lots of fun and pleasure. You're feeling particularly hedonistic right now. That's fine. There's no time like the pleasant.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
You're determined to work very hard to earn money now. You have the bit in your teeth, and you're going to run with it. Similarly, you might be spending money with the same ferocity and intensity. That's because you feel strongly about your possessions and your financial issues right now. Be careful someone doesn't pull a fast one on you. Guard against theft. Avoid uncomfortable situations related to money and possessions. Avoid anyone you think might take advantage of you. And quite obviously, avoid taking advantage of anyone else. (It's certainly true that the pen is mightier than the sword, especially when it's signing a big fat cheque.)
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
You're definitely tempted to take over and run the show right now. You can't resist it. You feel ambitious, confident, energetic and totally in charge. You find it hard to delegate or share responsibilities about anything with anyone. You want to call the shots! That's because you're experiencing a ruthless burst of energy. It's definitely something you can use, if you use it wisely, without stepping on anyone else's toes. After all, it's just energy. If you use it wisely, you will work hard to accomplish things. If you use it unwisely, you'll spin your wheels arguing with others, and trying to direct traffic wherever you are. You can work long hard hours now! Why not to put this energy to work for yourself, instead of creating havoc or chaos? Go for a win/win situation.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Avoid dangerous neighborhoods, dark alleys and areas of potential crime. There is some harsh energy out there right now. Don't go anywhere where you could attract negative energy to you. This same way, avoid arguments with others. They can get out of hand so quickly! A few words will suddenly escalate into something nasty in a New York minute. Remember: anger cannot arise in a happy mind. If you're unhappy about something, the tension will leak out in snide remarks or nasty retorts. (None of which improves the situation. But you know this.) Look into your heart right now. You're trying to figure what you value most. Stay with this impulse, because it's important.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Disagreements with friends and groups are practically unavoidable now. However it always takes two to make a fight. (Three to make an orgy.) Don't try to force your opinions and ideas on others now. The more you try to convince others of something -- the more they will resist you. Guaranteed. Instead, make your success, the success of others. Find a common goal and work for this. The same powerful energy that wants to create conflict between you and others can be used to forge a working bond that can accomplish a lot. (Actually, some of these new polyurethane glues make an excellent bond.)
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Even you have to admit you're surprised at how ambitious you are about something. However, this could push you to disagree with your boss or any other authority figure in your life (a parent, teacher or someone who upholds the law.) Your challenge (should you choose to accept this mission) is to use this energy in the best way possible. Why alienate others? There's no upside and what could be the gain? Avoid quarrels. Others don't have to do things your way; and they don't have to agree with you. Likewise, you don't have to knuckle down and do their bidding either. Instead, keep your eye on the prize, and keep working. You can accomplish a lot now!
