Aries (March 21-April 19)
This is a poor day for important discussions with bosses, parents, teachers, VIPs or the police. Their response will be, "Talk to the hand." It's important to know the rest of this week is much easier. Therefore, table important discussions for later. Just get through today unscathed.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
News about travel, higher education, foreign countries, the media, publishing, medicine and the law might be discouraging. So what? Things will change very quickly! Give this little thought or attention. After all, a hurricane only lasts for one day.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Disputes about inheritances, shared property, taxes, debt or anything you own jointly with others might arise today. This is a poor day to wade into these kinds of discussions. Take off your hip boots and postpone these talks for another day. You'll be glad you did.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Be gentle and easy-going with partners and close friends today. Ditto for family members. It's easy to get off on the wrong foot and then stay there for the rest of the day. (Ouch.) Who wants this? Not you. Focus on keeping the peace at home with family members. Give someone a little treat.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
Go easy with co-workers or people you encounter on the job today. Basically, you can be part of the solution or part of the problem - what's it going to be? Take the high road and be the role model that others can follow. It's amazing how one person can change the mood of the room.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Romance is rocky today, and relations with kids are also challenging. You might find vacation plans or social expectations are disappointing. Fear not. Everyone feels like their glass is half-empty instead of half-full today. But the rest of the week is much better!
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Today, relations with female relatives, especially moms, could be challenging. (You know that's a euphemism for "the pits.") Knowing this, don't get entangled with difficult exchanges. Although you're a fine debater, real fighting distresses you.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Refrain from criticizing others today, especially neighbours and siblings. (You'll be so tempted to do this.) Negativity breeds negativity. Try to maintain a positive tone with others because, for the rest of the week, you are home free. Just keep your opinions to yourself. (Mutter to yourself when alone in the car.)
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Friends or members of groups might be critical of your financial choices today or perhaps something you purchased. Avoid difficulties with females especially (regardless of your own sex). Don't be critical of others. And don't be discouraged if others criticize you. (What do they know?)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Don't go up against authority figures today, especially female bosses and parents. It won't be a pretty picture. Actually, you might feel lonely and cut off from others today. Don't worry, this is basically an illusion. By tomorrow, you'll feel completely different.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Like Capricorn, you might feel a bit lonely today or not part of the gang. Could it be that the fences you're building to protect yourself have actually imprisoned you? Fences are tricky. Robert Frost said good fences make good neighbours. Ben Franklin said, "Love your neighbour but don't pull down your hedge."

Someone older might criticize you today. Bummer. Possibly, it might be you criticizing somebody. (Why would you do this?) Remember your objective. You can always attract more flies with honey than with vinegar, right? Restrain your urge to make your point. Don't say anything you'll regret.
